Whether supporting us as an individual, family, group, or business there are
plenty of ways you can make a difference with LGCSF! How can you help?
We have several suggestions below.
- Monetary Contributions: Whether making a
one-time donation of $500, $250, $100 or a monthly subscription donation of
$100, $50, $25 (or any other amount you can give), you support the day-to-day
operations of the Chorus. You can donate online using the buttons to the right.
We accept payments online through PayPal, or you can download our Donation Form
(below right) and send in your payment. We accept Visa or Master Card, and
checks or money orders payable to "Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco".
- Silent Auction/Raffle Donations: Check your
stock rooms, storage rooms, and closets for auction-ready articles to raise extra
funds for things such as scholarships, purchases of new sheet music, and down
payments on performance venues. Throughout the year, we auction or raffle off
items to raise funds for the Chorus. Gift Certificates, gift baskets, works of
art, event tickets, and just about anything else can be turned into an auction
or raffle item. If you would like to donate an item, please contact us via voice

We'll be happy to make arrangements for drop-off or pick-up of your donations.
- General Item Donations: We are always in need
of office supplies, concessions supplies (plastic tumblers, stemware, and utensils;
plates and napkins), and decorations (balloons, streamers, etc.). At each Chorus
sponsored performance, we provide a concession table for the enjoyment of our
patrons. Cast and New Member parties occur about three times per year. Our
office is always in operation, interacting closely with our local community.
Helping the Chorus defray the cost for these items by donating them yourself
ensures that more of our incoming funds can be used towards the development of
the Chorus's musical programs. Please leave us a voice mail at (415)-861-7067 or

- Advertise: Whether for business generation or
personal expression, your ad reaches hundreds of people during each of our performances.
Sizes include quarter page, half page, whole page, and front and back covers. Our ad space is
very reasonably priced; more details about sizes and pricing can be found on our
Advertising page. If you have any questions about
advertising, feel free to contact us by sending an email to

you meet your advertising needs.
Shop and Support LGCSF!
If you shop online at Staples.com,
you can help LGCSF! When you check out, enter Our Business Rewards Account Number -
2842839520. LGCSF receives a check or in-store voucher for a percentage of
purchases made under our rewards number. To be eligible, we need to spend $250 per
quarter, so we can really benefit if everyone helps out! If you do most of your
shopping in-store, please email Chorus Manager Kristen Brown at
manager@lgcsf.org to request a keychain card
with our account number.
Mention LGCSF at any of the three San Francisco Cole Valley Hardware stores, and the
Chorus receives a donation of 10% of your purchase total. As a Community Partner with
Cole Valley Hardware, we receive this stipend from all purchases made when someone
mentions our name. We also are pleased to sell "Clearly Cole" bottled water (always
donated!) at our Chorus events.
